HELLO! Just a quick note to thank my neighbors, my friends and the Northville voters for stepping forward and getting involved in our democratic process. Even in a small city such as ours, people became involved with campaigns, wrote letters, distributed flyers, hosted “Meet The Candidate” events, placed yard signs, made campaign donations and voted absentee, or will cast their vote today. Your voice and vote will make a difference!
Also, big thanks to fellow candidates, John Carter and Andrew Krenz. From the beginning, we agreed to conduct level and clean campaigns and those two gentlemen have been worthy opponents, focusing only on their advantages, merits and goals as they campaigned. A good quote that compliments their efforts:
“All great human deeds both consume and transform their doers. Consider an athlete, or a scientist, or an artist, or an independent business creator. In the service of their goals they lay down time and energy and many other choices and pleasures; in return, they become most truly themselves."
-Lois McMaster Bujold, author (b. 2 Nov 1949)
I’m extremely thankful for the new friends and acquaintances I’ve made over last four years on council. Your opinions and involvement were and always will be high-value inputs in my decisions.
If re-elected, I look forward to talking, listening and working with you for another four years.
