The Sierra Club Endorses Patrick

The Sierra Club has endorsed Patrick Giesa for re-election for Northville City Council. Patrick started the Northville Sustainability Team in 2019; a team whose plan included carbon neutrality by 2030. He wants to ensure that the Northville City Hall rehab includes as many energy conservation enhancements as possible. Patrick has been a leader in a wide range of sustainability projects, from his participation in the Brownfield Authority, Board of Zoning Appeals and in the Non-Motorized Advisory Committee.

Get To Know Patrick

As Mayor, I have served on council with Patrick Giesa these past two years and have known his passionate civic involvement in our community as a liaison to many committees in town. Additionally, Patrick has been the past president of Rotary and previous chair of the Sustainability Team. Patrick going on almost 4 years has been involved with critical issues facing all Northvillians as a council member.

I have experienced Patrick’s service to the community through various initiatives that I have worked side by side with him on.

We must all know where we have been & understand the challenges of today to project where we want to go in the future in this “Hamlet in the Hills or Switzerland of Wayne County”, we call Northville.

Patrick Giesa has proven his dedication as a senior council member these past 4 years, along with sharing his time and talents in other activities for the betterment of this community.

Get to know Patrick yourself. Keep that Northville Faith!

I am very happy to offer my unqualified endorsement for Patrick Giesa to retain his position on Northville's City Council. I have known Patrick for twenty years and have worked alongside him on many community projects. Whether it is clearing logs out of the Rouge, pulling weeds for the Living and Learning Center or leading efforts in an executive capacity, Patrick leads with kindness and energy. He is committed, generous and thoughtful. We are lucky to have him lead our community.

Patrick has Integrity!

It is a pleasure to recommend Patrick Giesa for re-election to the City Council. I have known Patrick for over seven years. I first met him through the Northville Rotary Club. Then, as a member of the Board of Zoning Appeals, I got to know him as our liaison with City Council. With over 3.5 years on City Council, Pat has the experience to handle the challenges and opportunities coming in the next four years. He is also new enough that he still brings new ideas to the table. Patrick has demonstrated that he is a team player but is not afraid to take a stand for what he believes is right. He is a rare person who demonstrates service, good judgement, integrity and dedication.

I am happy to offer my unqualified endorsement for Patrick Giesa’s re-election to the Northville City Council.
